Tomorrowland

Autopia

Who wouldnt want to drive a cartoon looking car on a track that only goes a few miles an hour?

Tips:

* Fastpass, fastpass, fastpass. The line seems to never move.

Innoventions

Make your own fireworks show, play free video games, and even learn some stuff too!

Tips:

* You don't have to listen to all the demonstrations once you enter, just walk the opposite direction and you will find the center of the building, where all the action is.
* There are no bathrooms inside. Make sure you go before you enter.
* This is a great place to go when it is either too hot, too cold, or too crowded!

Honey I Shrunk the Audience

A 3-D adventure into the mind of a somewhat psycotic genius.

Tips

* Sit towards the back. The viewing of the movie is the same, but you get to see everyones reactions as well. It also makes for an easy exit when its over.

Astro Orbiter

This may look harmless, but astronauts don't go through all that training for nothing!

Tips

* DO NOT try to fit two adults into one rocket. You may fit just fine to begin with, but once you are up there, and you are being forced to the side, somones leg will get hurt, especially on the way down. You dont want to be the people falling out of the rocket because you are now stuck.
* This line moves slowly. If it is long, it will be a long wait.

Star Tours

Journey into space with a highly trained droid. Just make sure he doesn't get lost!

Tips

* Hit this ride early, or late. Sometimes the line is long. If it is, it will shorten so just come back later.
* The front row is not the best on this attraction. Try to avoid it if at all possible.

Space Mountain

Closed until 2005

Monorail

Fantasyland

Matterhorn

A fast paced roller coaster ride in and out of the Matterhorn Mountain! Tight twists, turns, and sudden drops make this a must ride at Disneyland.

Tips:

* If the line on the Fantasyland side of the mountain is long, check the Tomorrowland side, it is usually shorter.
* The Fantasyland side of the mountain is a longer ride, but the Tomorrowland side has a faster track.
* Do not ride this in a downpour. You will be soaked. Every time you go in and out of the Mountain, you will be going under a waterfall of water.
* The cars are small. If you have two tall people, ask to ride separately or the person in front will have hurt knees.

Dumbo

Step right up and present your magic feather to fly with Dumbo! A high flying circular ride that may leave you dizzy if you can't control your altitude!

Tips:

*Hit this ride either at the beginning of the day, or during the parade or fireworks show when most of the families will be busy doing other things.
* Don't hold up the line trying to get a picture of you sitting in your Dumbo. If you walk up right behind the ride, there is a stationary Dumbo where you can take all the pictures you want!
* Sometimes characters hang out behind the Dumbo ride, so make sure to look.

Peter Pan

The most popular ride in Fantasyland, Peter Pan is an amazing journey. Climb aboard your own flying pirate ship and off you go to Neverland!

Tips:

* Ride this early in the day, or late at night. The line backs up quickly.
* You can squeeze three adults into a Ship if you are crafty.

Snow White

The Evil Queen peers down as you enter the ride to learn of Snow White and her seven small friends. Take a journey into this Scary Adventure!

Tips:

* Probably not the best ride for small children, it can be scary.
* There usually isn't a line for this ride, but it is not easily seen. Just look straight across from Peter Pan, and you will see it!
* This ride is short and sweet. Don't expect a long ride with a fully developed plot.

Alice in Wonderland

Are you late for a very important date? Take a ride with a certain caterpillar into Wonderland! Watch out for the Cheshire Cat, he tends to just pop up!

Tips:

* This line can back up qucikly. If you see the line is short, jump at the opportunity!
* This ride closes when there is rain, so if there is rain in the forcast, jump on the ride before it starts coming down.

Pinocchio

Do you want to be a Real Boy too??? Come along on a ride with Pinocchio and see if he can fulfill his dream!

Tips:

* There usually isn't a line for this attraction.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

You think you are a crazy driver? I guess you haven't met Mr. Toad! Climb aboard a car to go on his truly Wild Ride.

Tips:

* There is a statue of Mr. Toad right as you enter the building, It is good luck to put a penny on his tongue.
* The same statue is a great photo op. for a lucky lady to kiss a toad (or at least look like she is)
.

Storybookland

Be eaten by a giant whale on this canal ride. A great ride to just sit and relax, and see miniatures of all your favorite Disney Celebrity houses. Who needs Hollywood?

Tips:

* Ask if your child can be the Co-Captain and ride on top of the boat with the Captain.

Casey Jr.'s Circus Train

Which circus animal will you be? Become a caged animal on this brave little engine. He thinks he can do it, do you?

Tips:

* You do get to pick your own seat, so if you really want one that is already taken, ask to wait for the next train.
* Riding in the very back, facing backwards is quite a thrill
!

Carousel

Pick your pony! Hop aboard to ride around and around and around.

Tips:

* Sometimes you can ride with the Disneyland Band, who is usually accompanied by Alice in Wonderland and her friends.

Small World

It is surely a world of laughter and a world of tears as you travel by boat all around the world.

Tips:

* Stay to the right. The right line which goes to the far side of the loading area always moves faster because the left line must incorporate in the guests in the wheelchair accessible line.

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Spin yourself dizzy on the Tea Cups! Just be sure to get your balance before you try to exit the ride, or you could become the main attraction!

Tips:

* To get your teacup going fast, make a gameplan with your ride partner. It will make turning much easier.

Frontierland

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

The wildest ride in the wilderness is waiting for you to come aboard!

Tips:

* Because the train is so long, you get a better sensation sitting in the back. Just ask and they will be happy to accomodate you.
* Right after the second lift, look at the Goat on the hill eating the dynamite; its on the right. Keep looking at it until you are all the way around the corner. It gives an odd sensation.

Mark Twain/Columbia

A little used attraction, these two ships can be quite the experience.

Tips:

* You can actually be the captain of the Mark Twain... just ask. And you get to put your name in the book!
* The Columbia doesn't always run, so if you see it out, jump at the opportunity.
* Due to their use in Fantasmic, they stop running the ships in the early evening.

The Canoes

A fun and exciting way to see the Rivers of America!

Tips

* The canoes are not on a track and do not have a motor, which means they run by manpower. Yes, you must work to get back to the dock, and its not always easy.
* Since they are not on tracks, they CAN tip over. Be careful.

Tom Sawyer's Island

Be a kid again and explore the caves of Tom Sawyer Island!

Tips

* Rafts to and from the island run about every five minutes, unless it is a busy day.
* The island closes before dark. Plan accordingly.

Adventureland

The Enchanted Tiki Room

All the birds sing words and the flowers croon in the amazing Tiki Room! Keep your eyes and ears open for a musical treat!

Tips:

* Look all around you so you dont miss anything!
* If you have the chance, visit the Tiki Room when Maynard is going to be the host for the show. He will truly enhance your experience, and give you a good laugh.

The Jungle Cruise

Lions and Tigers and Hippos? A classic Disneyland attraction, the Jungle Cruise is a great place to relax, and best of all, laugh!

Tips:

* Interact with your river guide, it will make your experience so much better.
* Try to catch a boat with Maynard as your guide. He is awesome!
* Hit this attraction when others are at their peak. You can get on this one quickly, and it is a great place to rest tired feet.

Indiana Jones

Live like Indiana Jones, well for five minutes anyway. Can you make it out in once piece?

Tips:

* Hit this attraction early, as the line gets long fast.
* Get a fast pass for this attraction ASAP. Did you know that you can use a fast pass anytime past the time printed on it?
* If you have never been on this ride before, try to sit on the right side of the vehicle.
* Can you spot Bones? He is a skeleton with Mickey ears on. Right as you enter the main chamber you make a quick left into a room with skeletons. Look all the way over your left shoulder and look at the side wall. He is about five feet from the track leaning up against that wall. Good luck, he is not easy to spot!

Tarzan's Treehouse

Are you up for a climb? If you are, you can see how Tarzan lived.

Tips:

* If you can't do a lot of stairs, stay clear of this attraction.
* Many times, they close the treehouse at night. Plan accordingly.

New Orleans Square

Pirates of the Caribbean

Is a pirate's life for you? Escape into the deep dark world of the Pirates!

Tips:

* If you feel like singing, but don't know all the words, just remember that every line ends with "Drink up me hearties, yo ho!"
* In the scene where the brides are for sale, they used the same face for two characters, can you spot them? (here is a hint, one is a man, and one is a woman)
* Did you know that you actually leave the boundaries of Disneyland when you ride Pirates? Can you see the vents in the ceiling?

The Haunted Mansion

All the happy haunts are willing to let you into their world, if you dare.

Tips:

* This attraction is most busy at night. Try to hit it early, or right before the park closes.
* Look for the bullet hole in the glass. When you are in the ballroom scene, right above the table, someone shot through the glass, but intead of replacing the huge single sheet of glass, they just covered it with a spider, and a spider web. You can see the cracks of the glass if you look closely.
* When you begin your descent into the graveyard scene, scare your tombstone neighbors by giving their doombuggy a quick little knock. The easiest point is when you level out, while they are still decending.

Critter Country

Splash Mountain

My, oh my, what a wonderful ride! If you like getting wet, this is the ride for you!

Tips:

* Get a fast pass on hot days, or you will be waiting a long LONG time. Remember that fast passes are good any time after the time printed on the fastpass.
* There is more than one drop, just be aware.
* Each log only seats five guests, plan accordingly.

Winnie the Pooh

A ride perfect for the kiddies! It's also great for grown ups. When else do you get to ride in an oversized beehive with doors?

Tips:

* This attraction took the place of the Country Bear Jamboree. They left the three animal host's heads that adorned the wall in the Pooh attraction. After the very bright heffalump and woozles room, look straight up! It's easier when you are in the first two seats.

Toon Town

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

Spin your way through a land of cartoons. Try to avoid the D.I.P.!

Tips:

* Toontown closes early for fireworks, plan accordingly.
* Spin your taxi all through the ride, it adds a lot.
* If you want to change things up, try to keep your cab going forward... it's a little more difficult than you may think
.

Gadget's Go Coaster

A fast rollercoaster ride that may make you a little nervous!

Tips:

* The train doesn't hold that many people, so if the line looks long, it is. Try again later.

The Jolly Trolly

Currently has not been in operation. We will post more information as it becomes available.

Mickey's House and Movie Barn

It's open house time with the worlds most famous mouse!

Tips:

       * Take your time! There is no rush. Take pictures! People can always go around you.
       * Make sure to stay to the end and not exit early... You do want to see Mickey, don't you?
       * Visit here on rainy days. Sometimes, Mickey invites all of his friends over to get out of the rain. You may see Goofy playing the        piano, Pluto lounging on his dog bed, and Donald just hangin' out!

Minnie's House

Pink and Purple are the colors of the day in Minnie's House.

Tips:

* Minnie usually stands in front of her house, but if the line looks long, it will move quickly.

Goofy's Bounce House

Why wouldn't you want to jump on all the furniture???

Tips:

* There is a height maximum for this ride, so make sure you kiddies are short enough before waiting in the line.
